So far 49 applications for legal offer of virtual slot game

According to the online portal finanztreff.de so far, 49 applications (as of 14.12.21) from providers for legal offers of virtual slot games and online casinos have been received by the state administration Office in Saxony-Anhalt. The applications are currently being processed, so far no provider has been granted permission. Without this permission, the offers may not start.

With the new State Treaty on Gambling, which entered into force on July 1, 2021, it is possible to offer legal gambling in Canada and to submit corresponding applications for virtual slot games, i.e. online slots, and online casino games, such as online poker or roulette. The state administration Office in Saxony-Anhalt is responsible for applications for virtual slot games. Applications for online casinos must be submitted in the individual federal states, depending on the legal situation.

Various authorities in Canada temporarily take over the supervision and approval of gambling. The tasks will gradually be taken over by the Joint Gambling Authority of the countries. This will be set up in Halle in the south of Saxony-Anhalt.
