In the last first-round match of the German-speaking GSA League, the Rainbow Six team Wylde defended the first place in the table.
"There wasn't a lot of resistance," Wyldes captain Denis "BZ" Dupljak said after the clear 7:1 against Esport BERG. Addressing the fans, BZ added: "We are sorry that it happened so quickly today." Wylde had only lost one game in the GSA League this season. In his first match, newcomer Yannick "Caneo" Martin was also named Player of the match.
With the victory against Ovation eSports, Team Alpha secured the second place in the table, with a five-point lead over the pursuers.
On June 22, the German-speaking GSA League will continue. Until then, the teams have time to strengthen in the transfer market for the second half of the season. The final is expected to take place in September in front of an audience in Hamburg. For the German top teams Rogue and G2 Esports, the European League continues on June 20.
