The regular season in the League of Legends league is coming to an end, it is getting more and more interesting at the top. Team Vitality moved up to second place after a win in the top game against G2, while Rogue continued to spring in a winless week.

"I am preparing for G2 more than for other teams. It's my old team with former colleagues, I don't want to lose to them," Vitality midlaner Luka "Perkz" Perković said in an interview after the game. "After losing 3-0 in the last series, it is only important that we also show good performances".

Vitality had started the season with the commitment of the ex-G2 player with great demands, but did not come close to the title in the spring. But just before the playoffs, the team is getting in better shape and secured a safe victory against defending champion G2 on Saturday.

Rogue is in second place on points, after the team has now conceded the third consecutive bust against Astralis. Behind them, G2 is in the middle of the table with Excel, Misfits, Astralis and Fnatic in a close battle for the three other playoff ranks, with only one victory currently differentiating the teams.

At the top is MAD Lions, who are the favorite for the first World Cup place in the region with the fifth victory in a row two weeks before the end. After another week without a win, Team BDS finished in last place and now has no chance of making the playoffs.
