Tundra Esports has qualified for the Dota major in Arlington at the end of the penultimate week of the Dreamleague with a 2:1 against Goonsquad. While OG has already stamped his ticket, the remaining two European places at the Major are still open.
"The biggest difference between the second and third DPC league for us was that we started the second league with a new squad," Tundra coach Kurtis "Aui_2000" Ling said in an interview after the game. "We tried very hard in the bootcamp and had burnout. The DPC format is very long and you have to find the right balance between hard work and longevity.»
With the clear victory against Goonsquad, Tundra Esports secures the second Western European place after OG at the Dota major in Arlington in the US state of Texas. Five teams will compete for the remaining two places in the last week of the match.
The loser of the evening is Alliance: the Swedish team sealed its relegation in its last game of the league with a 0:2 against Entity. The team failed to win a game in five weeks.
