In the second week of the Western European Dota Pro Circuit league, Team Liquid defeated opponents OG 2:1. It was OG's first loss of the season and the first series of the season to run over three games. Nigma Galaxy lost the second match of the day with a score of 0:2 against Tundra Esports.

"It was a lot of fun to play this series. OG has always been a team that is fun to play against and the new squad definitely carries on that tradition," Liquids captain Aydin "iNSaNiA" Sarkohi said in an interview after the game.

Change of player from Liquid to OG

Tommy "Taiga" Le moved from Liquid to OG at the beginning of the season. "Obviously Tommy is very close to our hearts," iNSaNiA said. "When we talked about changes in the squad, he said he would rather leave the team so that everyone who wants to stay can stay and no one is kicked out.»

After two rather one-sided games, it became exciting in the third game. In the 84-minute game, the initiative changed steadily at the beginning, until OG was able to build up a gold advantage. Despite the advantage, Liquid was able to rely on the teamfight skills of their heroes, slowly turning the game from the 49th minute. Nevertheless, OG held his base for a very long time.

At the clash of Tundra Esports and Nigma Galaxy, Tundra clearly defeated the competition. Nigma is still playing without star midlaner Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi and appeared to have no chance, especially in the first game. For the match against OG in the third week of the match, Miracle had announced that he would return.
