T1 around the long-time star player Sang-Hyeok "Faker" Lee has finished the regular season of the Korean League of Legends League LCK without defeat and thus set an early exclamation mark.

"I'm going to play on a big stage for the first time," T1 toplaner Woo-Je "Zeus" Choi said in an interview after the game. "I'm not sure how well I'm going to play in the playoffs, so I'm going to approach it gradually.»

Before the new season, T1 relied on constancy and retained the bulk of the lineup. This paid off: with the victory in the last game against DRX, T1 becomes the first Korean team ever to go undefeated with 18 wins in the playoffs. In 2015 and 2017, T1 had only a few victories to this mark missing.

T1 benefited from a large number of corona cases in the league business. The closest pursuer Gen.G had to compete in both direct duels with a weakened replacement, while at T1 in one of a few teams there was no case. With Fredit Brion, one team even had to give up a game without a fight, but nevertheless reached the playoffs of the league for the first time.
