Italian Starcraft 2 pro Riccardo "Reynor" Romiti has triumphed at King of Battles 3. In the final against Joona "Serral" Sotala, he dominated the best-of-seven series without submitting a map.

The encounters of the two Zerg players develop into the final classic of the scene. Two months ago, they were still dueling for the highest title of the scene, in the season finale at the IEM Katowice. At the time, Serral won 4-3 in a thrilling match.

This time it should be different. With a surprising ease, Reynor swept his opponent out of the tournament. In his usual cheerful and charming manner, he sang and rapped in front of him during the games, his head nodded to the music on his headphones.

Serral played unusually aggressive and chaotic against the Italian, a style of play for which Reynor is usually known. "Sometimes he just goes crazy and pretends to be me. Which I can honestly understand, because who doesn't want to be me? But it doesn't work as well for him as it does for me," Reynor said with a broad grin in the winning interview. Even such taunts belong to the rivalry of the two players.
