Seven Canadians in FIFA eChampions League Playoffs

In the group stage of the eChampions League in FIFA 22, seven Canadians qualified for the knockout round. Among them is the Canadian individual champion Umut "Umut" Gültekin.

The player from RB Leipzig was among the top three scorers of the group stage in Central and Eastern Europe with 26 goals. Already after the third victory, the qualification for the offline event was certain, with his fourth victory Umut secured a better starting position in the playoffs.

FIFA World Cup winner MoAuba retires

The 2019 world Champion, Mohammed "MoAuba" Harkous, retired from the tournament with three defeats. On his Twitter profile, MoAuba expressed unhappiness. Since the patch, he has been very bad, the current bunkering and ball pushing could make others better.

Even the group start was bumpy for MoAuba, against the Romanian Razvan "RvPLegend" Puiu, he fell behind early with three goals. The player from Fokus still managed to equalize in the first leg (3:3), but in the second leg his opponent swept him off the court (1:7).

After the seventh goal, Moauba's dissatisfaction was written on his face, his lips were pinched, his hand rubbed through his face. Meanwhile, his 18-year-old opponent cheered, laughed and held ten fingers for his ten goals in the camera.

The eChampions League will continue at the end of April. Then the participants will be drawn for the final on May 27 in London.
