A clear thing in the European League of Legends tournament European Masters: With LDLC OL, one of the favorites for the start of the playoffs clearly prevailed 3: 0 against X7 Esports.

"Every game is a challenge, even if it sometimes seems clear," LDLC support Mads "Doss" Schwartz said in an interview after the game. "Their plan just didn't work out, that's why it looked so easy." LDLC was the only team to finish the group stage undefeated. X7, the first of the British-Northern European NLC, was able to win a victory for Karmine Corp led by Martin "Rekkles" Larsson and eliminate the German champion Gamerlegion.

However, there was no tension in the duel. In the early course of the game, X7 still held on, and was still a short way ahead in the second game, but LDLC prevented the opponent from getting his hopes up.

X7's Jungler Min-seung "Haru" Kang was shown the limits: at the World Championship victory of Samsung Galaxy 2017, he had completed a game for Samsung Galaxy, at the EU Masters it was now in the quarterfinals.
