Rogue will be working with KOI from next year. The own name is receding into the background in favor of the previous competitor, but both organizations remain independent.
"I couldn't be more proud of KOI and what we have achieved in such a short time," KOI founder Ibai Llanos wrote in a press release. "By partnering with Rogue, we are only growing faster, and it expands our opportunities to offer our fans even more exciting experiences.»
Rogue had won the League of Legends League LEC for the first time in 2022, in "Rainbox Six Siege" the team triumphed in the Berlin Major. Now, however, all of its own teams will adopt the name of KOI at the beginning of next year, with the Spanish organization also bringing in the franchising starting place in the new European Valorant league. However, the structures of Rogue remain in the background.
Just less than a year after its foundation, KOI is taking a big step towards the top of e-sports. The figurehead is founder Llanos, who, after a successful career as a commentator, had grown into one of the biggest Spanish streamers, and had founded the team together with FC Barcelona footballer Gerard Piqué.
