Rogue is the second European representative for the League of Legends World Championship. The team beat MAD Lions in the first round of the playoffs in the European LoL league LEC.

"Participating in the World Cup has always been a dream of mine," said Markos "Comp" Stamkopoulos of Rogue in the interview after the series. "It's finally one of the dreams that have come true, so I'm really looking forward to it.»

Both teams were able to win a game at the beginning. In the third game, MAD kept the upper hand and also transferred the momentum into the following match point game. But Rogue did not give up without a fight: the team seized control after 15 minutes and overran MAD.

This was the decisive last game. Rogue got off to a better start, but MAD fought back doggedly. Eventually, however, Rogue kept his nerve and secured his place at the World Cup with the victory. MAD Lions slides into the lower bracket of the playoffs, Rogue meets the winner of the game between G2 Esports and Misfits Gaming in the semifinals.
