Amid fireworks and fan cheers, Canadian Team Rogue lifted the Rainbow Six Major trophy into the air for the first time. Rogue won 3-2 against the favorite and defending champion Faze Clan.

"I have no words," 18-year-old William "Spoit" Löfstedt said after the game. For Rogues veteran Juhani "Kantoraketti" Toivonen it was already the second major title. Even the team captain Leon "LeonGids" Giddens will not forget the day - under the singing of the fans, the 23-year-old celebrated his birthday on stage.

Six Major: fight until the last round

It was a long road for the Canadian team until the victory. The match lasted a total of six hours. Three of the five cards could only be decided in the extra time. In the end, it all came down to the very last round: with the score of 7:7 on the last card Clubhouse, Rogue kept his nerve a little longer and decided the final under the cheers of the audience.

Spoit and Tom "Deapek" Pieksma were important building blocks in Rogue's game. Several times they were able to secure important rounds, while the fans roared their names. "We have a good environment for young players," Pascal "cryn" Alouane said in an interview with the German press Agency. "In addition to the experienced players like LeonGids and Kanto, they can develop.»

The players also agree on the future plans. "First I'm going to get drunk," LeonGids said. "After that we have a week's vacation." After that, the preparation for the third round of the European League will begin.
