With a quarterfinal victory at the Sweden Major against Team oNe, Canadian Team Rogue qualified for the Rainbow Six Invitational. Furthermore, Rogue maintains his chances of winning the major in Gävle, Sweden.

However, at first it looked far from good. The Brazilian team showed a dominant performance in the first match of the best-of-three series. But Rogues coach Matthew "meepeY" Sharples was able to shake up his players.

"He took a timeout and got us out of state," rogue player Leon "LeonGids" Giddens said in a postgame news conference. As a result, Rogue caught up and controlled the game until a clear 2:0 victory (8:7, 7:5).

However, the team did not have much time to celebrate the surprising success: "Now we'll look at the other games and relax for an hour or two," meepeY said. The opponent for the semifinals will be determined in the match between ninjas in pajamas and Spacestation Gaming.
