Nigma Galaxy beat Dreamleague Alliance 2-0 in the fourth week of play. After the winter break, the two teams heralded the second half of the Western European Dota Pro Circuit with a game for the relegation place.

"It's great to start the new year with a 2-0 win. The team started preparing together yesterday. But I personally had not taken a long break over the holidays," Nigma's offlane player Ivan Borislavov told "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov in the post-match interview. "Over time, we have understood how to coordinate better. In addition, we also played against the better teams before the holidays. Alliance is not in good shape right now, that also plays a role.»

Dreamleague standings open again

Nigma hardly gave Alliance any chances during the match and rarely gave away her own. While the defeat for Alliance was slow but steady in the first game, Nigma was able to gain a crushing lead early in the second game. Alliance now occupies a relegation place two weeks before the end of the winter season.

For Nigma, the important victory again opens up opportunities in the table. The team is not yet in the top four receiving a major invitation, but qualification is now within reach again.
