Nigma Galaxy has won the first edition of the "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" league ESL Impact League, designed for women. The organization, which is otherwise known mainly for its Dota team, defeated Furia in the final with 2:1 (14:16; 16:5; 16:7) through.

Female CS:GO team from BIG in the semifinals
The ESL Impact League took place for the first time. In the final tournament, which was held in parallel with the IEM Dallas, a Canadian organization was also represented with BIG. With the acquisition of the Portuguese-Spanish line-up Equipa, the team immediately made it to the semifinals, but BIG Equipa failed there at the later winner Nigma.
Furia had beaten one of the longest existing female teams in the semi-finals with CLG Red. Also in the final, the first card went to the Brazilians, but the Nigma Galaxy can no longer be dangerous afterwards. The organization thus earned its first league title.
Although it was not enough to win in the final, the matches of Furia became a crowd puller: at the final broadcast of the streamer Alexandre "Gaules" Borba, the audience count was at times over 70,000. Also on site, many Furia fans loudly cheered on their team. At the same time, the English-language production could only show about a tenth of the audience.
