Nigma Galaxy defeated 16 Coolguys 2-0 in the fifth Dota 2 game week of the Dreamleague Season. The team is now in the top-4, potentially receiving a major invitation, but can still get into a stalemate situation. In addition, Team Tickles defeated Tundra Esports 2-0.
The last match of the season for Nigma Galaxy set the end point for a successful catch-up for the squad of German captain Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi. The team lost all of the first three series with a score of 0:2, but was then able to regain chances of the top-4 with four wins in a row. Whether there will be a stalemate, and therefore decision-making matches against Team Secret, Tundra Esports or OG, depends on the results of the last week of the game.
It is currently unclear whether the winter Major, to which the top 4 of the Western European Dota Pro Circuit will qualify, will take place. Most recently, the Dota 2 developer Valve announced in response to displeasure in the community that they now want to let the tournament take place under certain conditions.
