Even in the last big counter-strike tournament of the year, there was no way around major winner Natus Vincere in the end. In the final, the currently probably best team in the world triumphed against Gambit with 2:1 (11:16; 16:11; 16:6).

"I'm proud, although we didn't show ourselves in the best shape in the tournament, and at the beginning we wobbled a lot," Navi star Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliw said in an interview after the game. "But in the end we all woke up, and it feels good to win like that.»

Navi makes comeback in Blast final

Gambit had the better start to the game and got the opponent's card choice. But Navi equalized on the second map. On the third and final card, Navi finally left Gambit no chance, and defended the title from last year.

However, the team did not remain completely flawless: Liquid had surprisingly forced Navi into the lower half of the tournament in the first round, and eliminated Astralis himself there after a defeat against Gambit. Only in the rematch against Navi did the strong run of the team come to an end. It will remain the last appearance of the lineup: as the players have already confirmed, Liquid will soon make changes.

Vitality is strong again before player changes

Team Vitality, which will probably also look significantly different next year, also said goodbye respectably by reaching the semi-finals.

"We should be proud of the months we've been playing together. It's the positive moments you want to remember," Richard "shox" Papillon said in an interview after the game.
