Natus Vincere has only just reached the playoffs of the "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" tournament ESL Pro League. Team Vitality, on the other hand, was in the best shape and remained unbeaten.

"We didn't have time to prepare our game with me in the team. It's good that we still qualified," Navi's star player Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliw said in an interview after the game. The Ukrainian had only joined the team late at the start of the season.

Actually, Navi had come into the tournament in good shape, but the team lost in Group A of the ESL Pro League, among other things, against the otherwise winless outsider Endpoint. As the first team to achieve this in the current format of the league with more defeats than victories, Navi nevertheless reached the playoffs.

Team Vitality remained unbeaten in the second tournament with newcomer Lotan "Spinx" Giladi with five wins. Star player Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was in top form and secured the French organization an early entry into the quarterfinals. The third qualifier in the group is Fnatic, with which the team reached the playoffs of an offline tournament for the first time after the corona pandemic.
