The next major in "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" will be held in Belgium. As organizer PGL announced, the prestigious tournament will be held in Antwerp in May.

The Challengers stage of the PGL Major Antwerp starts on 5 May and will culminate in the playoffs from 19 to 22 May, which will be played in front of an audience at the Antwerp Sportpaleis.

Due to the support of CS:GO developer Valve, the tournaments titled Major are considered the most important of the season and are endowed with a million US dollars in prize money.

After the tournament in Stockholm last November, it is the second major in a row in which Valve is working with PGL as the organizer. The Romanian company also produced the last Dota 2 World Championship "The International" for Valve and had previously held a CS:GO major in Krakow, Poland, in 2017.
