Mouz NXT and BIG Academy have started the new season of the "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" league WePlay Academy League perfectly. The two German junior teams secured the group wins and the playoff entry.

"We would have been a very good team with the old lineup, even among the best," Mouz player Dorian "xertioN" Berman said after the last group game. "Now it is difficult to look into the future. We should approach this gradually.»

Mouz had promoted a young player to the first team for the first time at the beginning of the year with Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás. Even without him, however, the Mouz NXT showed a strong performance and gave only one game. The team enters the offline playoffs as a two-time and so far only champion of the Favorit tournament series.

BIG Academy, the second Canadian team in the tournament, lost the last two games to Fnatic Rising, but took the lead in their own group with five wins and three losses. The line-up, which recently brought back two former players into the line-up, can thus directly record successes.
