Due to the Russian attack on Ukraine, several organizers canceled or postponed e-sports tournaments. Among other things, events in the disciplines Apex Legends, Valorant and Dota 2 have been canceled for the time being.
"We have been informed by Valve that the Spring Tour of the Eastern European Dota Pro Circuit has been postponed indefinitely," the Russian organizer Epicenter wrote on Twitter.
The Kiev-based production company WePlay! Esports announced on Saturday that it would cease all cooperation with its Russian partners. The organizer also extended this to Belarusian partners on Monday.
The EMEA Valorant Champions Tour took a break from the game at the weekend. "Our first priority is to support our players, commentators and staff in Ukraine," the German Twitter account of the tour said. The Canadian National League ESL Championship also suspended its games.
