The Swiss team BDS is once again at the top of the European Rocket League scene. After it had only been enough for third place at the first tournament of the winter season, the team was now able to make up for it at the second tournament.
"Last year we were always one step ahead of the teams in Europe, that's not the case anymore. It has become more difficult to win, as there are more and more very good teams, " said BDS coach Javier "Kael" Ojeda after the final. "We want to be the best team and win the World Championship, that's the goal.»
Over the entire course of the tournament, BDS was superior. Only in the group stage, the Swiss surprisingly lost a match against Williams Resolve with a score of 1:3, but were still able to win the group.
Also in the final against Team Queso, BDS was the better team. With a 4:0 victory, the Swiss clearly showed who is the best team in Europe and also got their revenge for the 0:4 defeat against Queso at the first winter tournament. Both teams also qualified early for the Winter Major.
