Among other things, the North American Dota 2 team Quincy Crew is repositioning itself for the upcoming season with the German Maurice "Khezu" Gutmann. Last year's team managed to take the first place in the NA league, but at the World Cup they managed to finish only in ninth place.

"After the World Cup, I looked at what options there are and talked to a few teams," Khezu said in an interview with the German Press Agency. "I was also in constant contact with Quinn and Yawar, as I was their coach during the World Cup," he said in reference to two other players of the team. "We then agreed that I take over the role of captain.»

The 26-year-old Canadian has already been in a North American team. At CR4ZY he played online with partly high latency. "Whether I can live in the USA all year this season depends a lot on whether we get an organization." Unlike many other teams in the scene, Quincy Crew does not have a strong e-sports organization behind it that finances the team.

"In terms of performance, we definitely have the potential to win the first place in the region," Khezu said.
