Karmine Corp has won its first European title in the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS). In a nerve-racking final, the French team defeated the newcomer Quadrant from England with 4:2 (3:2, 2:1, 1:5, 1:2, 2:0, 6:2).

Especially in the sixth game, Amine "Itachi" Benayachi and Axel "Vatira" Touret won the lead against the team founded only two weeks earlier by strong communication game. This gave them their first European victory in this team line-up.

After a mixed group stage, KCorp had a remarkable run in the playoffs of the tournament. After a victory in the quarterfinals against world champion Team BDS (4:2), the French team also eliminated fan favorite Moist Esports (4:1).

"We play the next regional tournament like any other," Itachi said in an interview after the tournament victory. "We are doing our best to win it and deliver it well throughout the season - whether it is regional, Major or World Championship.»

At the regional tournaments, the teams collect important points for the qualification for the next international competition. The Split Major case is scheduled to take place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in December.
