Heroic has qualified for the final tournament with a win against Astralis in the "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" tournament Blast Premier Fall Showdown. Co-favorite Team Vitality had previously failed.

"It's especially nice to win the derby against Astralis. I thought we would play with it in the arena in Copenhagen, but we need a few more wins," Heroic player Jakob "Jabbi" Nygaard said after the game. "The audience will be on our side now that Astralis is not there. This could be a sick experience.»

For some participants, the tournament was not only about a starting place in the Blast final, but also about important game practice before the major in Rio, which is due in less than a week. But the biggest surprise came from a team that is not there: Astralis eliminated Team Vitality in the semifinals and thus recovered after the missed qualification.

But the final was determined by the Danish local rival Heroic, who only really had to tremble on the first card. With the 2: 0 victory, the team is in good shape for the most important tournament of the year.
