G2 Esports Rocket League coach Jacob "Jahzo" Suda fought with tears in an interview after his team's tournament victory in the second RLCS tournament of the Winterspilt. After all, the victory in the final against NRG was also the last game for Jahzo as a coach for the Berlin organization after four and a half years.

"It's not just that this was my last tournament as a coach for G2, but certainly also as a coach in general in the professional Rocket League," Jahzo said after the final. Being able to win the last tournament was liberating. "After all this time as a coach, I'm burned out now. It's the right time to stop.»

And what a farewell tournament G2 played for their coach. In the three best-of-five series of the group stage, the team lost only one match (3:0; 3:0; 3:1). It was also able to win the opening match of the knockout round and in the Upper Bracket final G2 then swept NRG off the server with a clear 4: 0.

G2 then met NRG again in the final. The opponents were able to win the first game with a narrow score of 3: 4. In the second game, G2 was back in top form and secured the tournament victory with a 4:2.
