After watching the G2 Esports team in the preliminary round, the team celebrated a 2-0 victory over Zeta Division at the Valorant Masters to kick off the playoffs.

The performance improvement of the Japanese team was highlighted again and again. "You guys have improved a lot," G2's Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas Colocho tweeted, referring to Zeta's games at the last Masters in Berlin in September.

G2 will face Loud in the semi-finals of the Upper Bracket on Sunday. The South American team defeated Team Liquid in a close game with a score of 2:1 for the playoff opener. For Liquid, however, the Masters is not over. As a loser, you switch to the lower Bracket. The first opponent is called Zeta Division.
