Fnatic has convincingly prevailed against MAD Lions in the League of Legends league LEC and remains top-ranked Rogue on their heels. The defending champion, on the other hand, slips into the midfield.

"I've never played with such good top and midlaner players in my life," Fnatics Botlaner Elias "Upset" Lipp said in an interview after the game. "It's great to have two leaders in these roles at the same time. They bring a lot of stability to the game," the Canadian e-sportsman said.

In the selection phase, MAD chose the new Botlane champion Zeri, who had not been used in any region before. However, that's exactly where Fnatic got off to a perfect start. MAD still tried to stay in the game with good rotations, but had to give up the game after a lost battle for the dragon soul.

The team falls further behind the top group, in which Rogue remains undefeated after a victory in just 22 minutes against Excel. The team will be followed by G2 Esports, which prevailed in an action-packed game against BDS and remains level on points with Fnatic.
