FaZe Clan has won the "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" tournament PGL Major Antwerp. In a thrilling final against Natus Vincere, the team had to work hard, but in the end sat confidently with 2:0 (19:16; 16:10) and secured the title at one of the most important tournaments of the season.

After winning the major in Stockholm last year, Navi entered the tournament as the defending champion, and made it to the final again despite a so far untitled season.

CS:GO-Major: s1mple stays pale in the final
Navi was forced to choose his own map, but FaZe showed himself as the more alert team. Once again, Navi, whose Ukrainian star player Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliv remained rather pale, had to fight against a 5:10 gap. This was even achieved on the defense side at the beginning. However, FaZe prevented a comeback and was allowed to take the cup in his hands a little later.
After the bitter final defeat at the Eleague Major 2018 in Boston, in which FaZe had awarded match points against Cloud9, it is the first major title and probably the organization's biggest success in the CS:GO scene so far. At the age of 32, team captain and announcer Karrigan became the oldest player to have achieved this success to date.
