The European Rocket League team Dignitas has won first place at the second tournament of the RLCS autumn season. In the final, the team defeated Vitality.
Dignitas climbs to the top of the EU ranking and takes a big step towards qualifying for the Major in Stockholm
"Over the past two weeks, we have worked closely with our sports psychologist, which was very crucial for our tournament victory," said Dignitas player Joris "Joreuz" Robben. In the first tournament of the season, the team had some mental problems. "We want to maintain our focus in this way and then give it our all again in the third tournament".
The final between Dignitas and European Champion Vitality was rather one-sided. With 4: 2 and 4:0 after games, Dignitas swept the often chanceless opponent off the server.
Dignitas only had to admit defeat once during the tournament. Against BDS, the team lost significantly with 0:3 on the second matchday of the Swiss stage. "BDS is still the best team in Europe. But we and many others have clearly caught up in terms of skills," says Joreuz.
