As the only German team at the Rainbow Six Major, Rogue has qualified for the playoffs with four wins and two losses.

"Our communication and teamwork is our strongest asset in this tournament," Rogues coach Matthew "Meepey" Sharples said in a press conference. At the Six Major, the Canadian team primarily wants to qualify for the biggest R6 event of the year, the Six Invitational. For this, the team will have to prove itself in the quarterfinals against the Brazilian team One eSports, which won the previous major in Mexico.

Rogue's surprising success at the Six Major

The success comes as a surprise: in the European league, Rogue had to tremble for the league's preservation in the relegation before. "This is not the first time this has happened to us. It was a very scary situation for us. We were afraid of losing and did things that didn't suit our game," said player Leon "LeonGids" Giddens.

However, with the change in the coaching staff and the signing of Kevin "Prano" Pranowitz, the crisis was fought and the qualification for the major was successfully achieved. "We want to qualify for every possible tournament. We have the appropriate skills to do that," Prano said.

The favorite from the European League and major finalist in Mexico, Team Empire, as well as the European Team Vitality have already failed in the group stage. Fellow favorite BDS Esport from France will face FaZe Clan in the quarterfinals.
