Canadian League of Legends coach Fabian "Grabbz" Lohmann is part of the new coaching staff at Swiss team BDS. The team announced this via Twitter. Grabbz was previously under contract with G2 Esports for four years and led the organization, among other things, to the 2019 World Cup final.
The Swiss-based organization acquired Schalke 04 Esports' place in the European LEC at the beginning of the year and will compete in the league for the first time next year. In addition to Grabbz, the team has also taken over the analyst Christopher "Duffman" Duff from G2 Esports and thus completed the coaching staff - so the two will continue to work together in the future.
"I hope that you will join us on this journey and that we will be able to bring you even more beautiful memories in the future," the Canadian said in the announcement video of BDS on Twitter.
Changes to Fnatic, MAD Lions and Rogue
Former G2 star Martin "Wunder" Hansen has also found a new home: after four years, the Dane is switching to Fnatic, for a long time G2's biggest rival in the European LoL league.
But not only G2 and Fnatic have screwed on their teams. In addition to Botlaner William "Unforgiven" Nieminen, LEC champion MAD Lions also brings German Midlaner Steven "Reeker" Chen on board, replacing Matyáš "Carzzy" Orság and Marek "Humanoid" Brázda.
For Steven "Hans sama" Liv, however, it's time to say goodbye to Europe: the former Rogue Botlaner is leaving the LEC and will start for Team Liquid in the American LCS next year.
