With a dominant 3-0 victory against Paris Eternal, the top team Dallas Fuel has secured participation in the June tournament of the Overwatch League.

"This was the best performance I have seen from them so far," analyst Scott "Custa" Kennedy commented on the performance of Paris, despite the clear defeat. One of the driving factors in this, in his opinion, was the Canadian emir "Kaan" Okumus. "He almost always seems to be able to create something out of nothing." Kaan was already noticed positively by the analysts of the league last season.

With the win against Paris, Dallas moved up to second place in the standings and thus secured the tournament place in June. The league's first-place finisher, San Francisco Shock, also qualified early and was undefeated.

Despite losing to Houston Outlaws (0:3), the second European team, London Spitfire, still has two chances to qualify on the next matchday. With five defeats in a row, Kaan and his team are in the last place in the standings and have already missed the qualification.
