The Russian counter-strike team Navi showed no signs of losing form in the first tournament after winning the major. At the Blast Premier Fall Finals, the Russians lost only two cards over four games and thus deservedly finished the tournament in first place.
In the final, Navi also got his revenge for last year's Blast autumn final. A year ago, the Russians still had to admit defeat to Vitality with a score of 0:2. This year, the Major winner had the game firmly in his hands in the 2:1 final victory. Even if Vitality was surprisingly able to win the second map Nuke, on which Navi had never lost in the last three months.
Why Navi lost his strongest card, but Navi player and tournament MVP Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev had a very simple answer after the final: "Maybe we just lost Nuke because we wanted to play a little longer in the arena in front of the audience. The final was not a hard game for us".
Hardly a home advantage for Heroic and Astralis
The two Danish teams Heroic and Astralis finished third and fourth in front of their home crowd. For Astralis, it was the first tournament after the disappointing twelfth place at the Stockholm Major and the resulting restructuring of the team. In addition to the third place, the team can look forward to a clear 2: 0 victory over NiP around the former Astralis star player Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz.
