The Canadian team BIG started the counter-strike tournament Blast Premier Spring with a mixed performance. For the Berlin organization, it was only enough for third place in the group stage of the tournament.
"We know that we are actually better," tweeted BIG player Josef "faveN" Baumann after the second defeat in the group stage against ninjas in pajamas (NiP). In the opening match of the tournament, the Berliners were defeated by the Swedish organization at first narrowly with 12:16. With a victory against Complexity, BIG then fought his way back into the tournament - only to lose again in revenge against NiP.
However, the end for BIG does not mean the third place in the group stage yet. Next week, the Berliners will continue in the quarterfinals of the Play-In Blast Premier Spring. With two wins there, the team can still qualify for the finals.
