In the first half of the autumn season in the "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" league ESL Championship, everything is going according to plan for Sprout and Alternate. Cowana is falling short of expectations.
The runner-up had switched to an international line-up before the season and had signed former BIG player Denis "denis" Howell, but now has to worry about qualifying for the playoffs with only three cards won. Cowana is one of the six worse-placed teams, which only have to make up two playoff places among themselves in the next phase.
On the other hand, things went better for defending champion Sprout, who is competing in the ESL Championship after switching to a mostly Danish line-up with two German substitutes. Despite little training, it was still enough to finish second in the group. Even before that, the strong-performing team ONYX Talents, which lost only one card, and now, like Alternate Attax and BIG Academy, is only fighting for better seeding in the next round.
