Full of joy, the players from the Faze Clan fell into each other's arms after winning the final decisive round. With the final victory against the Finnish team Ence, Faze can win the second major CS:GO tournament in a row after IEM Katowice.

In an interview after the game, team captain Finn "karrigan" Andersen dedicated the victory to the fans: "Thank you to everyone who supports us, this is for you".

According to Karrigan, the success can also be attributed to new signing Robin "ropz" Kool: "I knew it would be good when I brought Ropz into the team. But if I'm honest, I didn't expect that he would play so well and we would win two important titles at once".

After two significant 2-0 victories in the knockout round against Navi and Furia, Faze also showed himself dominant in the final match against Ence. Faze was initially able to win the card chosen by the opponent Vertigo with a score of 16:11. Ence tied the series with a 17-19 victory on Overpass.

The third card Mirage was able to secure Faze again with a score of 16:9 and the US team also had the upper hand on the decisive card Dust2. After the change of sides, it looked like a new equalizer shortly after, but Faze turned the 8:10 gap and won the game at the end with 16:12.

The next goal for Faze is the Major in early May. "We may be well on our way to the IEM Grand Slam as world number one now, but we take each tournament one by one and on our own," Karrigan said. "The Major will also show whether we are really number one.»
