With the third defeat in a row, BIG missed the playoffs at the PGL "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" major in Antwerp. G2 Esports, on the other hand, was able to save itself in a decision game.

"We were under pressure, and could not implement our plans as well as possible," the new BIG coach Fatih "gob b" Dayik told the news portal "HLTV.org ". "We never gave up, that's why, despite the close series, I'm proud of the team.»

Despite good form before the tournament and an opening victory, BIG had to build into an elimination match against Team Vitality around star player Mathieu "ZywOo" after defeats against Navi and Furia. After a false start on the first card, BIG was already facing the end early, but prevailed on the second card in extra time. On the third card, BIG finally pulled the shorter one and lost the series with 1:2 (9:16; 22:19; 17:19).

G2 was also not allowed to make a mistake, but saved itself in a decision game. The Berlin organization involved outsiders 2:1 (16:10; 10:16; 16:11) and will play for one of the last playoff places on Tuesday.
