BY PROFESSION, THEY ONLY HAVE TO DO WITH LUCK. WHAT WERE THE MOST FORMATIVE MOMENTS IN YOUR PROFESSION?
It makes me very happy that I can pursue a creative and very varied profession. At Sachsenlotto, happiness is noticeably close. One of the most defining moments of recent years has been the launch of the multinational lottery Eurojackpot. The team worked diligently for months towards the start of sales and is looking forward to how the product was accepted by the customers. In the meantime, we have succeeded in establishing Eurojackpot as the second strongest product behind our classic "LOTTO 6aus49".
WHAT ARE YOUR HAPPINESS TIPS OR WHAT DOES HAPPINESS MEAN FOR YOU PERSONALLY?
The charm of happiness, in my opinion, is not in possession, but in giving. Whoever makes others happy – no matter how small things or deeds - becomes happy himself. The happiest moment of my life so far was the birth of my son, who also gives me happy moments every day. As a newly-made family man, I currently hardly have time to pursue my hobbies. I can really celebrate the moments when I listen to a vinyl disc on my Technics 1210er in peace. Especially in times when everything is digital, the vinyl disc with its special feel becomes an object of deceleration. I really appreciate these moments, they are the little moments of happiness in my everyday life.
HOW DO YOU PLAY LOTTO? AND WHAT HAVE YOU WON BEFORE?
I like to look at and experience our lottery shops from the point of view of our customers. I therefore take turns playing in various of our almost 1300 reception points. If it is sometimes running out of time to go to the store, I also give a tip via our online portal www.sachsenlotto.de ab. Together with my employees, I have already played in the new team tip - and even won a small amount. The highest win I've made so far was $100 with KENO, our daily numbers lottery.
WHICH OF THE THREE CASINOS IN SAXONY IS YOUR FAVORITE?
Each of the three houses of our sister company has its own charm. My favorite is the CHEMNITZ CASINO. I like to remember how we staged Marilyn Monroe and the matching sixties ambience on the market for the Chemnitz City Festival 2015. It was a great collaboration with the local team.
HAVE YOU EVER ATTENDED A SPECIAL EVENT OF SPIELBANKEN SACHSEN, WHAT WERE YOUR EXPERIENCES?
I haven't attended a special event yet, but I want to go to the "men's thing" with my friends soon. I also find the special event, such as live roulette, exciting – there will certainly be a little Las Vegas feeling.
